Since1975, EHWA DIAMOND has been serving the construction and stone industries worldwide with diamond tools that yield the highest level of performance. EHWA construction tools are used in all areas of construction from highways to bridges to buildings. EHWA manufactures a complete range of construction diamond tools designed for maximum performance for each application. Products include high-performance concrete and asphalt blades, ductile iron blades, grinding wheels, crack chasers and core bits, among others.

EHWA provides a wide variety of premium tools for the stone industry from quarrying to slabbing to polishing and shaping.

EHWA manufactures high-performance wire saws and large diameter segments for re-tipping as well as single and multi blades. Products also include grinding wheels, forming wheels and mini tools for natural and artificial stone.

1975 01	EHWA DIAMOND IND. CO., LTD. established in Youngdungpo, Seoul. Began manufacture and sales of diamond tools for stone.
1976 04	Launched manufacture of diamond core bits and reaming shells for drilling.
1977 03	Launched manufacture of diamond grinding wheels.
1985 04	Moved plant location to Osan.
1988 07	Established stone laboratory.
1992 04	Company products were designated as "world class" products by ministry of commerce and industry.
1993 01	Established manufacturing plants in Seochun, Korea and in Fujian, China.
1993 02	Designated a self calibration institute by the industrial advancement administration.
1993 11	Acquired ISO 9001 certification .
1994 05	Awarded IR 52 CHANG,YOUNG SIL prize for innovative product development (Diamond wire saw).
1994 12	Awarded the golden prize in the precision technology competition held by ministry of trade, industry & energy.
1995 11	Received the USD $ 50 million export tower award and the meritorious e xporter tower award at the trade day celebration (Presidential citation).
1995 12	Received exemplary small business award given by the ministry of trade, industry & energy (For small to mid-sized companies).
1996 07	Designated as best quality management enterprise in Kyungi-do province.
1997 01	Designated as best labor - management cooperation enterprise.
1998 02	Selected as one of the best 50 small-to-medium-sized enterprises with competitiveness in product quality (National institute of technology and quality).
1998 11	Awarded the golden prize for product quality at the 1st WBA competition (Korea management consultants association).
1999 07	Awarded the diamond prize for production process at the 2nd 'WBA competition (Korea management consultants association).
1999 11	Certified as an excellent factory in manufacturing industries. (Korea management consultants association / Graduate school of management).
2000 05	Awarded the first prize in the 24th productivity competition (Presidential citation), (Korea productivity center).
2001 10..	Built up ERP system.
11..	Honored world best products & Leading company for machine components & materials by Ministry of commerce, industry and energy.
2002.. 12..	Acquired revised ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
2003 02..	Designated as an excellent R&D center in Korea.
2003 07..	oSa (Organization for the Safety of Abrasives) certified.
2004 09..	Established plant in Sanghai, China.
2005 03..	Awarded prize in the 39th competition for date of taxpayer by minister Ministry of Finance & Economy. Awarded prize of Korean president in the 32th competition for the date of people for commerce and industry.
