Izmir is the center for the world rendezvous at a time, when the natural stone export has exceeded 1 billion USD. For the first time the number of exhibitors is more than 1.000 and the net exhibition area increased 2.000 sq-m, although there is lack of space. When it is compared with the previous year, it is clearly seen that the number foreign exhibitors increased from 238 to 251 and the number of domestic exhibitors increased from 714 to 781.
MARBLE was held in 1995 for the first time as the unique international stone fair of Turkey, with the participation of 47 exhibitors on an area of 2.600 sqm. Today, still the unique international stone exhibition of Turkey "MARBLE”, with 952 exhibitors and 45.558 attendees, has undersigned a great success, has satisfied Stone Industry and both regional and national economy with its fascinating accomplishment.
